Vicky has extensive experience in private practice advising on a wide spectrum of property matters including commercial, residential and rural property.
As a member of the Rural Property and Business team, Vicky specialises in all aspects of rural property transactions including title transfers; sales and purchases; leasing; renewable energy projects; refinancing and security work as well as advising on complex title matters including title conditions, servitudes and land registration.
- Advising on various farm and estate purchase and sale transactions, including the splitting of title, creation of title conditions, and clawback arrangements.
- Advising rural property and estate owners on general property management work including leases of residential properties, sporting leases, and access and water arrangements.
- Advising on family transfers and property reorganisation including Minutes of Agreement, Deeds of Gift, executry conveyancing and relevant conveyancing documentation.
- Advising on partnership agreements and associated property work connected to the creation of partnership agreements, resignation and assumption of partners, dissolution of the partnership and reorganisation of partnership assets.
- Advising on security work for both lender and borrower and refinancing solutions including the preparation of relevant documentation such as standard securities and ranking agreements.
- Advising lenders and landowners in relation to renewable energy projects, including battery storage and solar farms and advising on relative options and leases.
- Advising a public body on a number of complex title queries, examinations and arranging for the voluntary registration of same in the Land Register of Scotland.
- Advising on the creation, extension and transfer of agricultural tenancies along with associated notices such as for the diversification of the farming business.
