Phil advises UK and overseas clients on in real estate finance matters, both debt and equity finance, primarily in the living, industrial, hotels and leisure sectors.
He advises on investment and development finance, on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and restructuring and insolvency. Phil is our lead client partner for a number of our key lender clients.
- Acting for Investec Bank plc on real estate finance transactions for over 15 years. Including two development facilities, totalling £44.2 million, to Fiera Real Estate and Wrenbridge to fund the development of mid-box urban logistics space across two sites in Heathrow, West London, and Stevenage, Hertfordshire; and an approx £85 million financing of the development of two build to rent residential towers in Luton.
- Acting for ICG on an approx £90 million development financing, and subsequent corporate sale of a data centre at Saunderton, High Wycombe.
- Acting for Puma Property Finance on an approx £45 million financing with the Victory Group for the development of a zero carbon office building with retail space at 45 Jermyn Street London.
- Acting for Puma Property Finance on an approx £20 million financing with Keir Group for the development of an industrial warehouse unit in Milton Keynes.
- Acting for ASK Partners on a number of bridge lending deals, including for development schemes in Camden, London, the Island Quarter, Nottingham and Aldgate in London.
