Lisa is a Legal Director in our Property and Infrastructure team, specialising in the property aspects of energy projects.
Lisa has over 15 years’ experience in the energy sector and was part of a multi-disciplinary team at Shepherd & Wedderburn formed to help clients navigate the recent ‘Gate 2’ connections reform process. She has acted for developers, funders and landowners on projects of varying scales and covering most technologies.
Lisa also has many years’ experience of more general commercial property work including large scale urban regeneration projects and residential development.
- Acting for a large utility as developer in assembling the land rights required for a number of large onshore wind development projects.
- Negotiating the terms of a complicated Interface Agreement between three large windfarm developers.
- Advising operators of existing windfarms on repowering options.
- Acting for a landowner in the repurposing of former open cast coal sites for clean energy developments.
- Securing land rights for the community benefit society, Arran Community Renewables, in respect of a proposed solar farm in Lamlash.
