Heather is a Solicitor in our Property and Infrastructure team. She advises clients on a range of commercial property matters, including lease transactions (acting for landlords and tenants), disposals and asset management arrangements.
She also has experience of dealing with property aspects of real estate finance transactions, and contributes property-related input on corporate transactions. Heather has assisted clients in a variety of sectors, including retail, aquaculture, and ports and harbours.
- Acting for a publicly listed company in relation to all legal aspects of their operational Scottish property.
- Acting for an investor landlord in relation to the ongoing management and redevelopment of a shopping centre.
- Assisting investor landlords with the disposal of investment properties, including the disposal of a £20 million multi-tenanted office premises in Edinburgh.
- Acting for an institutional lender on the refinancing of office premises in Edinburgh.
- Providing support on the Property aspects of corporate disposals involving Scottish properties.
