He acts for contractors and employers across a wider variety of sectors, including energy. He has also spent time on a client secondment at a major utility company.
Alejandro also has a keen interest in alternative dispute resolution, and has been involved in several adjudications and mediations.
- Involved in progressing a major infrastructure dispute in the Centre of Edinburgh, with a claim value of £40 million.
- Assisted with Court of Session proceedings in £450 million claim to challenge procurement process for a roads maintenance and development contract.
- Involved in progressing an adjudication against a sub-contractor for a faulty crib-lock wall as part of a Social Housing development. Securing success for the contractor client.
- Representing a Scottish Council in a dispute with a UK contractor regarding fire protection, roofing and structural defects at a series of new-build properties relating to a city-wide housing regeneration project.
- Representing a UK contactor in a £7 million dispute concerning fire protection defects in a high-rise residential development in Bristol.
