Alasdair Anderson

Alasdair is an Associate in our Corporate Finance team, based in London. 

He has experience of advising on a wide range of corporate matters including capital investments, governance mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings and disposals. Alasdair frequently advises companies and investors on equity funding into early-stage businesses.

  • Acing for Andritz in respect of the UK aspects of its acquisition of Diamond Power International, LLC from The Babcock & Wilcox Company.
  • Acting for AIM-listed Biglu Broadband Plc on the disposal of its UK fixed-wireless broadband business to Northleaf Capital Partners for an aggregate consideration of up to £90 million.
  • Acting for Omega Diagnostics Group plc in connection with a fundraising to raise gross proceeds of up to approximately £4.1 million.
  • Acting for Parsley Box Group plc in connection with a fundraising to raise gross proceeds of up to approximately £7 million.
  • Acting for the Scottish National Investment Bank on a number of investments, including M Squared Technologies, Trojan Energy and Forrit Holdings.
  • Acting for Testcard Ltd in respect of a number of investment rounds and routinely advising on corporate governance and other matters.
  • Acting for Libertus Capital in respect of its investment into a cryptocurrency exchange cross-border payment platform.
  • Acting for Kelvin Capital and Foresight's Scottish Growth Scheme in their investment into Novel Technologies Holdings Limited.
  • Acting for Scottish Enterprise and ESB Novusmodus LP in their follow-on investments and loans into Heliex Power Limited.
  • Acting for Old College Capital on a number of investments, including Bioliberty, Aveni Limited and Neuranics Limited.
  • Acting for the seller of a financial services company which involved subsidiaries located in the UK, Ireland, Channel Islands, Hong Kong and mainland China.
  • Acting for a major UK housebuilder in their acquisition of a timber house kit manufacturing company.
  • Advising GT R4 Limited on its corporate governance arrangements with Green Investment Group and Total New Energies in respect of the development of an up to 1.5 GW offshore wind farm.
  • Acting for the seller of a financial services company in the creation of an employee ownership trust and subsequent disposal of 80% of the company to the employee ownership trust.
  • Acting for ICG-Longbow as project funders in relation to various investment and development projects including the purchase of commercial real estate and a group of data centres in the UK.
  • Acting for Investec as project funders in relation to various investment and development projects in the UK.
